Chest Training & Video Editing Complications
My last chest training day was a week ago, since that time I have taken a week off from working out to let my body fully recover. I’ve done this chest routine for over 3 months, that has given me good results so far. I filmed my chest routine and uploaded it onto YouTube about 2 weeks ago. I attempted several times to put music on the video that wasn’t copyrighted but I had no luck. And this early morning around 2 – 3 A.M. I attempted again on my old ASUS laptop(I was using a HP Pavillion, but it’s not working properly and needs to be wiped) and downloaded GoPro and video editor program called Shotcut.
Unfortunately, for some reason I couldn’t edit my video on GoPro once it loaded my video and on Shotcut, every time I would try to upload my video, it would crash. So finally, I was just like screw it, and I went on ahead and made the video public instead of private on YouTube.
Anyway enough of ranting. Here’s the video of what I did. It’s not the best quality or great camera angles since I don’t have an amazing camera and I have to set my camera in certain positions to get footage of myself doing the exercises. My workout routine is simple.
3 sets of flat bench press
3 sets of incline bench press
3 sets of chair dips(if your local gym has a dip bar great because where I’m at doesn’t)
2 sets of incline push-ups
2 sets of decline push ups
2 sets of finger push ups
2 sets of knuckle push ups
2 sets of clapping push ups
2 – 3 sets of assisted one-arm push up with a small table, bench or something that support the other arm while you do push-ups with the other arm.
How I Train My Chests
I do my best to control the weight without using momentum with weights. When I do calisthenics for my chest, I do a lot of negatives ranging from 5 – 10 seconds for 1 repetition. I train my chest once a week, that seems to give me my best results. My chest to me isn’t one of my strong points in my physique, I feel in a lot of my pressing exercises that my shoulders and triceps take a lot the work from my chests unless I pre-exhaust them firsts.
I hope you enjoy the video, try the workout, get some ideas from it or something useful from it. Thank you for reading, be on the lookout for more posts and videos
